So, are you in Spain, or in England?
Both! We have an office in London and an office in Tarragona, Spain. Our staff speak both English and Spanish, as well as Catalan, meaning that all communication you receive will be in plain English.
Do you work in the whole of Spain?
Yes, from our offices in London and Tarragona we are able to advise clients on matters throughout Spain, including the Canary Islands and the Balearics. Most of our clients wish to purchase property on the Spanish Costas and we have been helping people to do this for over 17 years.
I don’t live in London. Can I still instruct you?
Yes! Our clients are based throughout the UK and Ireland and in Spain, as well as further afield. Modern technology allows us to meet virtually if you are not able to travel to our offices.
How long have you been in business?
Our firm was established in Spain in 2004 meaning that we have been giving expert Spanish legal advice for over 17 years.
What type of Spanish legal work can you help with?
We are specialists in Spanish succession, Spanish property and debt recovery in Spain and the United Kingdom. You can find more information about our services here.
Will I have to travel to Spain to buy a property?
We recommend that you see the property you wish to purchase in person, but after you have decided to make an offer we can do everything to complete the purchase without you having to travel back and forth, including making the offer and negotiating the purchase price on your behalf if you wish.
Do you use agents to do the legal work in Spain?
Absolutely not. All of the legal work in Spain is done by staff in our Tarragona office who are employees of E&G Solicitors in Spain.
What makes you stand out from other Spanish lawyers?
We are both Spanish lawyers and English solicitors and have an office in Spain and another in the UK. Our offices work together seamlessly, so unlike working with other Spanish lawyers, when you instruct us we do the work, not another firm instructed by us. Our expertise has been built over 17 years of advising people on property and inheritance matters throughout Spain. We can count most of the major UK charities among our clients, as well as many of the most important firms of solicitors throughout the UK.
I’ve had bad experiences with Spanish lawyers. How do I know I can trust you?
The firm is authorised and regulated in England and Wales by the Solicitors Regulation Authority with number 557474.
In Spain both Jonathan Eshkeri and Josep Grau are registered with the Ilustre Colegio de Abogados de Tarragona with numbers 2171 and 1973 respectively.
